Uncertainty Measurement of an image processing algorithm

Defects on the rotor blades of wind energy plants lead to wedge-shaped laminar-turbulent transitions, which impact the energy production of the plant negatively. An algorithm which detects transition wedges was developed. The goal of the project is to determine the wedge detection rate of the algorithm using simulated blade images, while considering the sensitivity of the detection rate to different parameters like contrast and noise.

Basic programming skills in python are required!
