Efficient Production of Vacuum Insulating Glass Using Laser Soldering Technology

Project Overview
Accurate measurement of critical process parameters is a key factor in reliable and efficient production of Vacuum Insulating Glass (VIG) through laser soldering process. These key process parameters directly affect the quality and consistency of the process. Using thermography and optical imaging, these parameters can be monitored, providing essential insight into the process quality.
The focus of this project lies on the development of measurement setup to capture thermal and optical data. These measurements form the foundation for process control, allowing laser parameters to be adjusted for consistent and high-quality soldering, enabling a scalable and industrially viable production process.
